How do I reset the Tire Pressure Monitor in my MINI with MINI Operating System 9?

To reset the Tire Pressure Monitor in your MINI with MINI Operating System 9, select the following in the MINI system:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Vehicle status"
  4. "Tire Pressure Monitor" and make sure that the tire settings are correct.
  5. Turn on the drive-ready state but do not drive off.
  6. Then select "Perform reset" and drive off.

The wheels are shown in gray on the MINI Interaction Unit and the tire pressure is reset. After a travel time of several minutes, the set tire inflation pressures are accepted as the predefined tire inflation pressures. The reset is completed automatically while driving. After resetting, the wheels are shown in green on the Interaction Unit and a message appears. You may interrupt this trip at any time. When you continue driving the reset resumes automatically.
