Which final documents will be sent to the Transferor and Transferee, after all steps are successfully completed in the Lease Transfer process?

A confirmation letter will be mailed to you, the Transferor. Upon receiving this letter, you are required to release the vehicle to the Transferee, and you may cancel the registration, insurance, and license plates. Depending on the state the vehicle is registered, you may need to send a copy of the plate cancellation or transfer form from the DMV to MINI Financial Services. Once all steps are complete, you are fully released from the financial liability of the account. Your Transferee will receive documents to register the vehicle at their local DMV. They will also gain access to a new My Account profile.
