How can I check the download status of a Remote Software Upgrade for my MINI with Operating System 9 via the MINI App?

To check the download status of a Remote Software Upgrade for your MINI with Operating System 9 via the MINI App, select the following in the MINI App:

 

  • "Status" ("Vehicle" tab)
  • "Software updates" ("Software" section). 

 

You can see the progress in percent and the estimated time remaining. After a successful download, you will see the status "Download completed". During the next trip, the data is automatically transferred from your smartphone to your vehicle via Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi.
