How can I link the vehicle key of my MINI with MINI Operating System 9 to another MINI ID?

By assigning a vehicle key or a digital key to your MINI ID, your MINI with MINI Operating System 9 automatically activates your personal settings when you unlock the vehicle. To link your vehicle key to a new MINI ID, first delete the existing link. To do this, select the following on the MINI Interaction Unit: 

  1. Apps menu
  2. "MINI ID"
  3. "Profile settings"
  4. "Driver recognition
  5. "Remove pairing".

Lock your MINI from the outside and unlock it after a short waiting period. Log in to the vehicle with the new MINI ID and activate the link of your vehicle key or a digital key to the new MINI ID in the "Driver recognition" menu.
