How do I delete my MINI ID in a MINI with Operating System 9?

To remove your MINI ID from the vehicle, select the profile icon or your profile image in the status field and follow the steps below:

  1. Open the “MINI ID” app.
  2. Select “Profile Settings”.
  3. Tap on "Manage profiles".
  4. Select the recycle bin icon next to your MINI ID.
Please note: If you wish to delete all data stored in the vehicle, please perform a factory reset. If your MINI ID is removed, the vehicle is automatically deleted from the MINI App and the MINI portal. Only the primary user can designate a secondary user as the new primary user. If the primary user deletes their MINI ID, the vehicle resets itself to factory settings and removes all linked MINI IDs from the app and portal.

Depending on the model and equipment of the vehicle, one primary user and several secondary users can log in with their MINI IDs. The first registered user is automatically set as the primary user. All other users are secondary users with limited rights.
