What are the advantages of digital radio?

The broadcasting standard DAB ("Digital Audio Broadcasting") offers a greater variety of programs in the best sound quality and enables the reception of additional information such as traffic data, weather information, titles, performers, electronic program magazines and current headlines. DAB/DAB+ radio automatically switches from one channel with poor or no reception to the same channel in another channel group with the best reception.
