What criteria does the navigation system in my fully electric MINI with Operating System 9 use to plan a route optimized for charging?

The cloud-based navigation system in your fully electric MINI with the new MINI Operating System 9 always plans the fastest route. If the remaining battery charge is not sufficient to reach the destination, the system recommends charging stops along the route with the shortest possible charging times to help ensure the earliest possible arrival. 

 

The route overview displays important information such as the expected state of charge on arrival, the recommended charging time, and the charging target for each stop. During the trip, live data allows the system to automatically reschedule charging stops if the originally selected charging stations are no longer available
