How does the Back-up Assistant work in the 2024 MINI Cooper?

The Back-up Assistant helps when reversing, e.g., when pulling out of tight or unclear parking or road situations. The vehicle stores the driving movements of the last distance covered. This stored distance can be driven in reverse with automated steering. The Back-up Assistant takes control of steering. The driver must control the speed using the accelerator and brake pedals. With Back-up Assistant: a maximum distance of 164 ft/50 m is saved.
