Is the Digital Key of my 2025 MINI Cooper 2 Door safe?

The vehicle owner must prove his authorization for the vehicle for this purpose. 

 

The MINI App can be used to provide verification for authorization, or the activation code can be used on the corresponding smartphone app, e.g., Wallet. Both vehicle keys must be in the vehicle during activation.

 

The key is saved on a chip on the smartphone called the “Secure Element”, which provides standardized hardware security as well as software security.
