Can I use Remote Services in the MINI App?

Remote Services enable some vehicle functions to be controlled remotely via the MINI app. To use Remote Services, an active MINI Connected contract is required. With Remote Services, the MINI app is used to control the vehicle. This app is available for iOS from the Apple App Store and for Android from the Google Play Store. The app can be used to lock and unlock the vehicle, for instance. Other functions may be available, depending on the vehicle. Alternatively, remote control for certain functions can also be requested through the MINI Connected Call Center at 1-866-860-0060. 

 

You can see the status of all Remote Services under:

  1. "Vehicle" (tab)
  2. "Vehicle information" ("Vehicle control center")
  3. "Remote History". 

 

Please note: You must add your MINI to your MINI ID in the MINI App, activate Remote Services and agree to data transfer and vehicle tracking in the "Privacy" menu in the vehicle. Your smartphone and your MINI require a sufficient mobile connection to run the Remote Services. The range of functions and operating principle of Remote Services may vary depending on the  equipment of your MINI.
