Does the MINI App notify me when the alarm system of my MINI with Operating System 9 is triggered?

With the Anti-Theft Recorder, you receive a notification from the MINI App with a snapshot of the exterior cameras and, depending on the equipment, the interior camera of your MINI when the alarm system of your MINI is triggered. Your MINI requires Operating System 9 and the options "Parking Assistant Plus", "alarm system" and "interior camera" as well as "MINI Connected Plus". 

 

You must activate the Anti-Theft Recorder once in the vehicle and agree to the data transfer under:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "All"
  3. "Privacy". Your vehicle must be parked and locked and the alarm system must be activated. In the MINI App settings, you must "allow push notifications".
