How do I activate the automatic unlocking of the charging cable in the MINI App after my MINI electric vehicle with Operating System 9 has finished charging?

To activate the automatic unlocking of the charging cable after your MINI electric vehicle with Operating System 9 has finished charging, select the following in the MINI App:

 

  • "Vehicle" (tab) 
  • "Charging" 
  • "Charge & Climate settings"
  • "Automatically unlock charging cable" (charging settings). 

Please note: The charging cable is automatically unlocked at the end of each charging session and is therefore unsecured and freely accessible to third parties. This option is available for MINI electric vehicles with Operating System 9.
