What functions of the MINI App can I use as a primary user of a MINI?

The first MINI ID that adds the vehicle to the MINI App is assigned the role of primary user. Depending on the vehicle type, up to 6 secondary users can also add the vehicle to their MINI App.

 

The primary user has special rights. These include:

  • Creating Digital Keys and sharing them
  • Purchasing ConnectedDrive Upgrades
  • Changing specific privacy settings
  • Transferring the primary user role to a secondary user
  • Removing other users from the vehicle
