Can several users add the same MINI to their MINI IDs in the MINI App at the same time?

MINI vehicles that were produced with a MINI system before the introduction of MINI Operating System 9 (from 11/2023) can only be added to one MINI ID in the MINI App.

 

In MINI vehicles with Operating System 9, one primary user and up to six secondary users can log in with their MINI ID. Please note: You can use the MINI App with one MINI ID on several smartphones.

 

The MINI ID that first adds the vehicle in the MINI App is the primary user. All other MINI IDs are secondary users of the vehicle with limited rights.

 

The primary user can view, manage or delete all saved secondary users in the MINI App by performing the following steps:

  • Open the MINI App
  • "Vehicle" (tab)
  • "Vehicle configuration" ("Vehicle control center")
  • "User management".
