How do I establish a new MINI Connected Account as a Primary Subscriber/User?

  1. You can set up a new account via several methods.
    1. In the MINI App:  Select "Register" on the login page. 
    2. In the My MINI portal: Go to http://mygarage.miniusa.com and select "Register". 
    3. In your MINI (MINI Operating System 9 or newer): On the welcome screen, select "Log in now with MINI ID" > "Register now," or in the MINI Interaction Unit, select "MINI ID" (top right profile icon) > "Register now". 
  2. Complete the registration: Provide your personal information, email, and password, and confirm your registration. 
  3. Activate your MINI ID: You'll receive an email with a link to activate your account. 
  4. Link your vehicle using the MINI App: Follow the in-app instructions to add your vehicle using the MINI App, which may involve entering your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). 
  5. Authorize the account on the car: This might involve scanning a QR code displayed in your vehicle to add your MINI ID to the vehicle.
