What is changing with the News app in my MINI?

The News app functionality is changing.  

  • The current News app has a podcast-type format, with stories/articles available for listening via a simple click.  
  • The updated News app is changing so that the format of the app will be news headlines and short articles that can be read while parked or can be read out aloud to you via text-to-speech.  

 

The News app will change over starting on May 12, 2025.
