How do I save routes with Maneuver Assistant in my MINI with MINI Operating System 9?

Maneuver Assistant offers the ability to record and replay routes using surround view cameras and obstacle detection. The vehicle is able to drive recorded routes automatically while you are sitting in the car or remotely control the vehicle.

 

  1. For recording a new path, the driver selects “Record new path” from the parking menu in the infotainment system once the driver is at a desired starting point.
  2. The driver can maneuver as often as needed and the system will track the path under a few conditions: no sharp steering angles, the distance is no longer than approximately 650 feet and the vehicle is going no faster than 9 miles per hour.
  3. A path is saved by selecting the option “Save recording” under a custom name given by driver.
