How do I deactivate shared MINI Digital Key?

Shared Keys access can be revoked by both the owner or a shared key user via two methods: 

 

  1. Via digital wallet, please note, for safety reasons when the owner revokes a shared key, the key will be in a “pre-deletion” state until another active key (digital or classic) uses the vehicle once. However, if a shared key user revokes their access, it is immediate.
  2. Via the Operating System, with either the “Main Key” or physical key fob within the vehicle go to: Operating System 9: Home > Keys > Reset Functions > Delete Key. Please note this action is immediate.

 

The recipient of the shared Digital Key can revoke their own access at any time via their smartphone’s wallet. This is effective immediately. Also, the recipient can delete their access via the car but only with the main key of the owner or a physical key fob present.
