How do I reset the Tire Pressure Monitor in my MINI with Operating System 9?

When using tires with special approval, proceed as follows to reset:

  1. Go through the menu as follows: Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Vehicle status"
  4. "Tire Pressure Monitor".
  5. Make sure that the tire settings are correct.
  6. Turn on drive-ready state but do not drive off.
  7. "Perform reset"
  8. Drive off. 

 

The wheels are shown in gray and the tire pressure is reset. After a travel time of several minutes, the set tire inflation pressures are accepted as the predefined tire inflation pressures. The reset is completed automatically while driving. After resetting, the wheels are shown in green on the Interaction Unit and a message appears. You may interrupt this trip at any time. When you continue driving the reset resumes automatically.
