How do I adjust the Active Blind Spot Detection in my MINI with MINI Operating System 9?

The Lane Change Warning system with active return detects vehicles in your blind spot or vehicles approaching from behind in the adjacent lane.

 

To configure Active Blind Spot Detection, go through the menu as follows:

  1. Apps menu
  2. "Vehicle"
  3. "Driving settings"
  4. "Driver Assistance"
  5. "Safety and warnings"
  6. "Active Blind Spot Detection".
  7. Select the desired setting.

You can configure how many warnings will be shown. However, there may also be an excess of unwarranted warnings of critical situations.
