Yes. In order to successfully smart charge, you'll need an active Connected Services subscription tied to your selected vehicle.
Steps to ensure Connected is activated on your selected vehicle.
- Log on to mygarage.miniusa.com
- Scroll down and click on My Vehicle Profile (If you do not see your vehicle listed, take the time to add it here now).
- Remote Services Status should be green and set as On.
- Under My Digital Services you should see Connected Services as Active.
