How do I switch from Apple CarPlay to MINI apps and functions in my MINI with Operating System 9?

You can display and operate the apps of your compatible iPhone with Apple CarPlay in the MINI Interaction Unit. To use MINI apps and functions, you must exit Apple CarPlay. To do this, select the Home icon on the central instrument. Apple CarPlay remains active in the background and can be selected again using the Apple CarPlay icon in the menu bar. Alternatively, you can temporarily deactivate Apple CarPlay in the "Mobile devices" menu, e.g., to use your iPhone without Apple CarPlay.
