How do I switch the connection mode of my iPhone in my MINI with a MINI Controller between Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth®?

Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, you can connect your compatible iPhone via Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth®. You can change the connection mode in the "Mobile devices" menu.

  1. Go to "Mobile Devices"
  2. Here you can toggle between Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth.

The telephone and music icon is for Bluetooth. The circle with a play icon is Apple Carplay.
