How do I switch from Android Auto to MINI apps and functions in my MINI with Operating System 9?

In your MINI with Operating System 9, you can display and operate the apps of your compatible smartphone with Android Auto on the MINI Interaction Unit. To use MINI apps and functions, you must exit Android Auto. To do this, select the Home icon on the MINI Interaction Unit. Android Auto remains active in the background and can be selected again using the Android icon in the menu bar. Alternatively, you can temporarily deactivate Android Auto in the "Mobile devices" menu, e.g., to use your smartphone without Android Auto.
