What is the function of the "Trail Mode" Experience Mode in my 2024 MINI Countryman?

In addition to MINI Modes, there are also MINI Experience Modes. MINI Experience Modes are not used to adjust vehicle handling, but rather to customize the lighting effects in the interior. MINI Experience Modes affect only the interior environment. 

 

Trail Mode is a mode that provides special views for driving off-road. It is exclusive to off-road driving, providing full control with a compass and displays for longitudinal and lateral vehicle inclinations.
